Is there any way to hide the status bar? You can see in the video that when auto-hide is on, the floating text stays in place. This is not possible because it is not an area that can normally be displayed.
This mode in Macrodroid requires root. The program I used to run the test works without root permissions. The device I am using has Android 10.There is a setting to turn off the status bar, but it may not be applied.
Actions > Immersive Mode > Full Immersive Mode
I have not been able to move floating text to the status bar area from what I have tried, I think the behavior varies by OS version and manufacturer.
The device I have is very limited in terms of modifications. There is no way to connect it to a computer to do ADB. I thought that if an application can hide the toolbar without root or ADB, then Macrodroid can do it tooNo root is required if you do ADB Hack.
ADB Hack - Granting extra capabilities via the ADB tool
Starting with MacroDroid V3.16.11 (with some effort) you can now invoke the following features on a non-rooted device: Battery Saver Action Location Mode Action NFC Enable/Disable Action Set Language Action Logcat Trigger + others as shown within the app. In order to do this you will need a...www.macrodroidforum.com
I'm pretty sure an app can hide the status bar only if it's in foreground (so when the app is open). The device I have is very limited in terms of modifications. No root, no ADBWhen tested on an Android 10 device, it was not possible to move to the status bar area.
I can but it's more complicated. I just wanted to use Macrodroid or some plugin for itEven with Fullscreen Immersive, it was impossible on my device, I think it is completely model dependent.
If you can achieve it yourself using this app, you don't need to use MacroDroid, do you?
MacroDroid has an immersive mode/full screen mode actionI can but it's more complicated. I just wanted to use Macrodroid or some plugin for it
I know. But it requires ADB or ROOT and I can't do thatMacroDroid has an immersive mode/full screen mode action
I mean that if some application from the google store can do it without ADB, it's strange to me that Macrodroid can't do it.Sorry, I don't know about special devices.
In general, an app needs permission to do something. In some cases, ADB is required for this grant, and if that is not possible, you may have to give up.
I wonder if it would be possible with an overlay of some sort...No, no, no, it is not like that, this app also asks you to use ADB to use ULTRA features, I think because MacroDroid is not an application specialized for full screen display, it does not show a dialog to ask for permission.
If you are not convinced, I think it would be faster to email support and ask the developer directly.
