Thank you. I thought that since the list of APs is accessible to other network-related Actions to pick from, it would've been made available to the user as some sort of variable, too. Bummer...
Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately I have some BT headphones that I use quite frequently and for long periods of time. (They're "air conduction" type, which allows me to also be "present" and aware of whatever environment I'm in, so I tend to forget I'm wearing them.)
How can I obtain (and update) during runtime the list of SSIDs currently in range (and, hopefully, their associated RSSIs) in a way that makes them available as variables? Is there any action (to e.g. read them in a dict, array or something) that I'm too stupid to find?
Hello.
Would it be possible to add local/global string variables to the list of SSID choices available for both the „SSID in range” trigger and „Connect to Network” action?
My use case:
- I foolishly bought a Motorola phone without being aware of their recurring WiFi disconnect bug (which...
Thanks a lot for your replies!
Mini-rant: I hate the term "Feature request", it sounds like I'm stomping my foot and demanding things to be done right now lol! I'd be much happier with "Feature suggestion", as in "if it even makes it to the list and gets done eventually, it's good enough for...
Is it possible for "Selection Dialog" action to get a "Default option" with timeout (just like the "Option Dialog" action)?
When the macro triggers, the selection dialog gets displayed but there are times when (for various reasons) the user can't interact with the screen so the dialog remains...
I have, and I had the impression „this simple change” was not possible - but I was hoping maybe a more complex one could be.
L.E. SOLUTION: Let me let you all know just how dumb I am for ignoring MD has a „Voice Input” action - which works without a glitch. Yeah... 😳
The GitHub reply I got states that the activity needs to be started with startActivityForResult which seems to not be (yet) implemented.
Is there any chance it will ever get done or is it simply not possible to use such feature in MD at all?
Hello everyone!
Has anyone used Futo's Voice Input with MacroDroid? So far I've managed to invoke the voice recognition engine and have it do its thing (by sending intent) but I have no idea how to get the resulting text back into MD to work with it. Any ideas on this matter?
