Tried it too with my galaxy s22 ultra and same it works only while in call. I have tried before apps that require proximity sensor and they never worked. I had no issues with my galaxy s20 ultra before.
Thanx for this method! I was failed with ladb but this method with ashell I can finally have adb commands to grant permissions on my Galaxy s22 ultra Android 13!!! Thanxxxx
