Macro fire twice

What could possibly be wrong, I notice that my telegram auto responder using Notification Listener plugin fire twice on single notification. I never realize this until I added a variable to count number of notification. who is using this plugin to auto respond message? are you facing same issue? how did you resolve it?

Sure i actually did that and it fired once as expected... but i notice macrodroid doesn't update variables values eg notification keys, tex etc. except i remov the constrain and ofcuz removing it will fire macro twice.

It seems macrodroid sees the activity of this plugin as double notifiction hence fire macro twice.

Maybe the plugin triggers once to tell that there was a notification and once to pass variables ? If I'm not mistaken it's designed for Tasker so it makes sense that it doesn't have the same behavior, although I never had this problem.

I tested the auto-response of Telegram with Notification Listener and it did not fire twice in my environment.

I think @Endercraft is right. well @Dimlos before now i didn't notice it trigger twice maybe because of the nature of my macro. Someone told me his macro send message twice on one notification hence it prompted me to figure out the culprit, i added a counter variable low and below it triggered twice on just one notification... adding a Constraint : macro not invoked in 1 second did the job but wouldn't update the necessary variables

I really want to know if i am the only person with this issue... try adding a counter @Dimlos.
hoping to hear your result.

I set the counter and sent a message, but the counter was only +1.
It may depend on the OS version or model.
