Can MacroDroid Sort A Google Keep List?

Google Keep can make a good shopping list but it cannot alphabetically sort it. Is there a way to have MacroDroid sort such a list when I feed it the name of the shopping list, or connect it some other way? Thanks.

Need to Restrict Battery Reminder Announcements

That looks great. I installed it and am waiting to see if the timing does what I'm after. EDIT: The macro adjustment appears to be working. Thanks again.

Need to Restrict Battery Reminder Announcements

My battery reminder macro works well except that when plugged in, it keeps reminding me that the "battery is full" every 15-30 minutes. Is there a constraint I can use to make it announce a battery full reminder no more than 2 hours apart? Thanks.

Want to change Location mode when app launched

Thank you so much again. Everything worked out OK. My only concern is that the Location only stays in High Accuracy mode while the mapping app is in focus. It switches back and forth between Battery Saving and High Accuracy as I switch the mapping app between focus status and background status...

Want to change Location mode when app launched

Moto G5S+ Android 8.1 Android Location = On Need to switch Location mode to "High Accuracy" when a specific app is launched. Need to switch Location mode back to "Battery Saving" when that specific app exits. Do I need root for that action when Location is already enabled? Thanks.

Want to set brightness for bitmaps

MacroDroid 5.13.5. I don't see a Logcat entry among the triggers list. Am I missing something? Thanks. EDIT: Nevermind. I found it under Device Events. I'll investigate further. Thanks again.

Want to set brightness for bitmaps

Thanks for your reply. Where is the Logcat feature located? That technical description seems beyond my limited MacroDroid skills unless I learn more. If all else fails I'll just have to live with using a gallery app for the feature I need.

Want to set brightness for bitmaps

That wouldn't suffice because I keep my file manager open a lot even when I don't need to view images. I used an app that does what you're describing and found that keeping my file manager opened at max brightness for long periods had a noticeable impact on my battery consumption. I uninstalled...

Want to set brightness for bitmaps

I'm currently using Simple Gallery Pro app on my Moto G5S+. The app has a setting to automatically brighten a jpeg/png image to 100% as soon as one opens. The brightening goes back to normal once the image is no longer in view. I'd rather not have to use a separate app for that feature if...

Want to set brightness for bitmaps

I need macro tips on how to change my phone's brightness to 90% only when viewing a bitmap. I'd like the brightness to switch back to its normal 10% when the bitmap is no longer in focus. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Can MacroDroid make Google Voice NOT use System ringtone?

Thanks again. I changed my macro to add the Else If clause and it's working as expected so far. I previously couldn't find how to add an Else statement so that's why I chose separate conditional statements. MacroDroid doesn't make finding the Else statement intuitive.

Can MacroDroid make Google Voice NOT use System ringtone?

I prefer to keep everything in one macro if possible. I tested the following and it seems to work. Thanks for your conditional statement suggestion. Initialize default system ringtone to "none" Name: Contacts Ringtone 3 Trigger: Call Incoming -> Any Contact Trigger: Call Ended -> Any Contact...

Can MacroDroid make Google Voice NOT use System ringtone?

Thanks for the feedback. Do I need to make a new macro for that trigger? I don't see how to fit it in with the current macro actions.

Can MacroDroid make Google Voice NOT use System ringtone?

Ok, this macro seems to work as intended for contacts and non-contacts. It changes the default silent ringtone to an audible ringtone only for incoming contacts. Then it changes the ringtone back to silent after a specified wait. Initialize default system ringtone to silent.mp3 Name: Change...

Can MacroDroid make Google Voice NOT use System ringtone?

Unfortunately the macro didn't work as expected. MacroDroid's "Configure ringtone" action actually switched the system ringtone from my contacts ringtone to the non-contacts ringtone. It looks like I need a way to return the ringtone to the contacts one after I answer or dismiss the non-contacts...

Can MacroDroid make Google Voice NOT use System ringtone?

Sorry, but it seems that I didn't see your reply before I started working on the implementation. Yes, I used the Call Incoming trigger and it seems to work for my needs so far, although I haven't tested the macro on an incoming contact. Thanks again for your reply.

Can MacroDroid make Google Voice NOT use System ringtone?

After more MacroDroid forum research, I think this solution (that I mostly copied from another forum) seems to work, at least for incoming non-contacts. 1.) I changed the default ringtone to an audible ringtone (for contacts). 2.) I noticed that the MacroDroid wouldn't allow me to use "none"...

Can MacroDroid make Google Voice NOT use System ringtone?

Thank you for your reply. Yes, my default System ringtone is already set to "none" but I want to know how to implement what you're suggesting. I want to know if MacroDroid can make GV use a specific audible ringtone for all incoming Contacts callers when I use the "Prefer Wi-Fi and mobile data"...

Can MacroDroid make Google Voice NOT use System ringtone?

If I set Google Voice incoming calls to "Prefer Wi-Fi and mobile data" instead of "Use carrier only," all GV incoming calls will use the default System ringtone, and will ignore the ringtone I've setup for Contacts only. Incoming call through GV sound better than those from my carrier. Is there...
