I cannot for the life of me get this to work on macrodroid. But does fine in tasker. It just simply doesn't populate the variables.

Nevermind, I figured it out. Tasker has one line for input on extra whereas macrodroid splits that into two. First part cmd Apps_menu Instead of cmd:apps_menu for example.

I just created a bare bones template with what you mentioned and it worked just fine for me. I uploaded it to the macrodroid templates, search for autonewuser. Also attached is a screen shot.

Hmm, maybe step back and test it without the specific wording aspect. Just plain application specific notification for the trigger. Add an action for vibrate or something similar too while you're at it to make sure you cover both ends. Also note that I'm not 100% sure if the trigger will fire...

Yeah something to that extent. Basically notification access should be allowed. Android settings, notification access. Grant MD that access.

Is there a guide for translating tasker intent configurations to macrodroid? Although the two look very similar when adding a send intent action they must handle things differently under the hood somehow. I have two apps that I'd like to get a response based upon a broadcasted intent: AdGuard...
