Airplane mode control of HUAWEI VNS-L22 (Android 7.0, EMUI 5.0)

I can't control airplane mode with MD actions. Is there any workaround?
By the way, it is already set in the assist application, and it is ADB hacked (non-root) just in case.

He means MD had set as default assist & voice input app on OS settings app.

Does anybody help him?
I have no his device specific info. He told me he tried turning it on and off via Airplane mode on/off action, but always failed. When running the action via the context menu as a test, the action respond nothing.

My understanding setting as MD as the default voice assist to allow MD to controll Airplane Mode was introduced for later versions of Android.

Your phone is on Android 7 which is a version where MD airplane mode action worked, prior to the above workaround.

I would try turning off MD as the default voice assist and try again.

Did you force stop and restart MD?

Do you have the MD helper file installed?

I expect so. It might be worth uninstalling it, changing the default voice assist, stopping and restating MD (or powering off your phone)

If after that, MD airplane action works, try reinstalling the MD helper, assuming you need it for other MD workarounds.

Actually it was remarked "Android 7+" on the popup help, but worth confirming. It might mean excluding 7, mean 8 or above, due to an unexpected issue.
