Bluetooth on/off on Pixel 8 not working

Hi,
I recently moved from a pixel 7 to a pixel 8 (via restore) and loaded the MDHelper 1.13 using adb. Even though the helper has the nearby devices permission, it doesn't appear to be able to turn bluetooth on and off. When I had the pixel 7, bluetooth worked even after it upgrade to android 14. However, Pixel 8 comes directly with Android 14 and it seems to be behave differently. The macrodroid log doesn't say anything other than 'Sending request to helper file for Bluetooth action

I don't think there is any reason it won't work because of Pixel 8.

That's encouraging. I hope someone can give me something to look at or try. I'm gonna try uninstalling the helper and reinstalling it. Maybe that will wake something up. Wish me luck!
