check my calendar event issues

I'm creating a macro that I need to check for my calendar event, if I have an event called "week", if so, don't continue with the event, if not, don't continue with the event. I'm having a little problem doing this because the Macro must follow a schedule as a trigger.

I need the Macro to always be triggered at 8am and 5pm from Monday to Friday, but I need it to follow the logic of checking my calendar for this event before proceeding with the Macro

Wouldn't there be a way to do it with the Android calendar itself?

If I understand you correctly you should be able to use a day/time trigger with the calendar entry constraint.
