Extremely slow webhook execution on trigger.macrodroid.com

Hello

For several days now I have been observing very large delays when executing webhooks from trigger.macrodroid.com. I speculate that the server is extremely busy and that is why it may look like this? Unfortunately, some of my services end with a timeout when executing a webhook call because of this. The same webhooks in the browser are executed but it takes up to 10 seconds on average.

Any information on what exactly is happening with the server and is there any chance of improving the situation?

Yes @Endercraft said the server was getting absolutely hammered by one particular user. I'm not sure if it was intentionally malicous or just someone who badly configured something but the sheer volume of calls leads me to suspect it may be malicous. I've now blocked the ip address it was coming from and that seems to have made the server a lot faster so hopefully everything should be back to normal.

If you see anything like this again please contact me directly at support@macrodroid.com so I will see it quickly and can investigate quickly.

Ok, if I notice I will contact you. :)

By the way, what are the acceptable connection limits so as not to cause a problem... so plus or minus?
