Fingerprint gestures known problem

Fingerprint gestures don't work. Tried on Galaxy J600 Android 10 and Moto g30 Android 11.
MD fingerprint gestures detector service is ON, MD helper is installed and the ADB hack is done.
Both devices support fingerprint gestures to open the notification drawer (this is disabled when I test MD macros with fingerprint gestures).
I found a post on the forum that describes a similar problem. There, MacroDroidDev claims that most phones have an on-screen fingerprint detector. But here in Europe, most phones are still sold with a traditional detector located on the back.

does not work for me too on Xiaomi even with Android 9
I think it's not possible if you have defined a gesture to use in phone settings (as I have done in order to bring down the notification drawer)
I have not tested by unsetting the gestures in the phone settings

As indexed in my post and shown on attached picture the native service regarding notification drawer is disabled.

yes, I saw it
I just haven't tested this myself, sorry I have been lazy,
(also I am not so hot in using fingerprint gestures in macrodroid so I quit fast)

just wanted to say that you are not alone and I feel that this thing with fingerprint gestures seems to be very dependent on manufacturer
I hope others tell their experience too so there is more information

Have tried on two devices from different manufacturers Lenovo-Motorola and Samsung. The same results. Googled for similar problem - there are lot of requests (old an new, also in 2021-2022). Seems it's a common problem for MD users.

I deeply regret ever adding this trigger because most device manufacturers do not support the Android APIs required to use this feature and more and more devices are moving to in screen fingerprint sensors that can never do this in any case.

The most annoying thing is that it's not possible to hide the feature when it's not supported because it cannot be determined without starting the relevant accessibility service and only at this point is it possible to query if it's supported.

I don't think you should regret so much, it's usefull for some users (not me)
And if all users just bothers to use a couple of seconds of there lifes to read the wiki or the pop-up's there would be no need to all these different threads about "problems"
