Some devices don't seem to support flashlight brightness (my OnePlus 9 Pro doesn't seem to support it)

And so now I can't control the flashlight in the normal way anymore, it should be considered to use an android 13 method (for the devices but also offer a fallback mechanism)

Torch works on my Android 12

Wear App Quality Guidelines: Basic functionality of app isn't working as described

Details
The basic functionality of your app doesn't work as described. Make sure to test your app on a variety of Wear OS devices and configurations. Please refer to the Building Apps for Wearables and Testing your App documentation for more information.
For example:
  • your application crashed when "trying to download on the phone".

I have in no way changed the Wear OS app for quite some time. I have no idea what exactly is crashing or fully understand what they mean. I've messaged to try and get clarity but no doubt I will get the "we've given all information that is available to us at this point" standard crap back.

I hate Google and I hate dealing with this constant bull****

It turned out to be some weird misconfiguration in the play store developer console where the beta was bundling an old version of the Wear OS app. Quite how the reported reason maps to that I have no idea, but at least I have discovered the cause this time.

As much as I try, the floating text won't cover the whole screen.

Hey, just all to know. If you 'save' your macros, update and then import the same macros on your updated Macrodroid all related to 'UI' 'Screen Content' will work again without errors!
