Disable the usb port or the charging function for 2h and enabling it again & repeat

Hi,
I am currently using my phone as a hotspot. My phone has a cat4 internet capability and every router with a 4g sim slot that costs lower than 200$ < has the same internet capability. Even if I had the money, it seems redundant to buy a router that performs the same as a phone. The real problem consists in the fact that the phone stays plugged in 24/7, so I already had a good phone that the battery got swollen, and became huge, cracking the window, and eventually I had to remove it the peasant way (with the cutter between the screen and a screwdriver). That being said, I have another phone that I am using as a hotspot and I currently keep an eye out for it and unplug it when the battery is full. I was wondering if there is any way to create a macro that either disables the charging function for 2h and after it will start again to charge, or to disable the USB port for 2h, this way it will not charge through the USB port. If someone has any other idea on how to create such a macro i am more than happy to hear it.

Even if you disable the USB charging (which needs root), the power still comes out of the plug so you're then paying for no reason. It's wise to put these plugs on TVs and other appliances to prevent house fires.

Also, cat 8 cables are much faster than cat 4

That is very helpful.
