MacroDroid battery optimization not available

Hello, my MacroDroid keeps getting killed after a few hours. When I restart it the app asks for Assesibility permission despite it was enabled before it was killed. Also in the battery optimization settings the app is showing "Battery optimization not available", so I can't even make changes to help prevent the app being killed. I have a ZTE Axon 30 Ultra, I understand it is a very aggressive app killer, but for other apps I want to keep I am able to set battery optimization options except MacroDroid. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Is MD set as either assistant or device administrator? Maybe that's why. I'd suggest turning them off and then sorting battery optimisation out and then going back and turning them on.

Ahhhh, you are right! I turned off device administration for MD and the battery optimization settings are now available. It's been set to "not optimized" and I'll monitoring how it goes. Thank you!
