Here are my ideas for improving Macrodroid, in order of importance (for me):
- Add the ability to copy and paste constraints in the "if clauses" (and loops etc) (this is a must!!)
- Clone an entire category with all its macros (AND variables, maybe as an option)!
- Improve the ability to manage and sort variables. (categories, clone, export, description, lock) (mainly for dictionary and array variables)
- add a "most used" - trigger, - action, and - constraints categorie at the top, when choosing a trigger, action or constraints (something like 6 or so is sufficient, i think)
- Cancel macro actions when it is being disabled, or add a button that does the same per macro and for all macros at the top.
- Add folders in actions that folds in like the if-clauses (may also be interesting in triggers and constraints, but not as much as in actions)
- add a tick box in the "variable tab" to:
• show used in macro
• show description (if added)
- add a tick box in the "action block tab" to:
• show description (if added)
• show used in macro
• show action block detail
- empty trigger/action as default in macro, until another thing is added. (maybe as an option in settings)
- Macro name already filled out with "untitled_xx"
- A feature to create variables faster like in Excel! (I don't really know how to implement this, but it would be a real time saver!)
- When I lock a category or macro, there should be an option to lock only the edit function.
- Add categories and description for action blocks
- Add the ability to sell our macros (even whole categories). This would add a revenue stream for the developers via fees. I would like to see some crypto payment option (e.g. Solana or other low fee blockchains), but paypal, google pay are also good options. The buyer should of course not be able to export (and maybe even see) the macro. (This would only make sens for extremely complicated macros, as the simple ones will be copied manually, I think)
- Macro editor on PC to manage, create, edit them.
- add an action "fly" (so i can finally use my phone to go to work
)
