Wifi not detected

I have a macro which should detect WiFi SSIDs. The trigger is set to detect every 5 minutes. Very often it just doesn't work. I'm sitting surrounded by WiFis that are on its list but it just refuses to detect them. Only if I restart the phone will it work, or go away from the area for a while and then return.. Any ideas? Thanks

I'm almost sure MacroDroid is not excluded from battery optimizations. Another thing that is as important, location services must ALWAYS be enabled for this trigger to work.

In this case the helper app must be excluded from battery optimization and be granted location permission (and you must have location services enabled on your device).

MD and the helper both need location permission set for all the time, otherwise wifi detection and displaying ssids wont work. I think this is the case for Android versions from 10.
