The dialogue boxes, option boxes shown by the macrodroid app is too old, obsolete and outdated. Feels like using device from old Android days. We seriously need improved designs compatible with new Material you design guidelines. Enclosed existing outdated dialogue boxes vs. material you designs.Screenshot_20230405-235943.pngScreenshot_20230406-000006.pngScreenshot_20230406-000218.pngScreenshot_20230406-001444.png

MacroDroid is not made to develop apps but just useful macros, generally for personal use only.

I didn't raise usage case here, using the dailogue features (which is a macrodroid feature for every user not just developer), feels like using old device and spoiling beautiful material you vibes of latest Android OS. We need improvements in dialogue box designs as per MD3 guidelines.

You say "We need improvements..." but I think you'd rather say "Some of us...". I think the majority of us are waiting for new and more powerful features rather than nice looking screen like on most of games...

Don't forget that behind @MacroDroidDev there is only one guy called Jamie. Not an army called Google, Microsoft or Apple...

I was going to post the same thing but saw this topic. I agree, the dialog box needs UI improvements. It would be very nice if Jamie would pay attention to this request 🙂

MacroDroid has new background button options on the dialogs in the most recent versions

mostly apps and phones have design updates, games are updating design very rarely.

Anyway MacroDroid is the best, but I just want to emphasize that visuals are also a very important factor. Moreover, OP only asked for improvements to dialog boxes, not the whole app, since inside an app like MacroDroid, UI is really not that crucially important (while UX is already good enough).

i'd prefer more realibility, more features, better accessibility and a bigger documentation, than a better ui.
