Ok thanks, meanwhile sorted with UI interaction, by triggering the embedded screen recording... a macro in itself :)

Actually today something happened: got a call by the gate as intended, the phone executed the macro, but at a certain point asked for the fingerprint, and didn't complete all steps. I didn't see it all but I guess that since speakerphone onwards the macro stopped, so I had to enter the digits...

Actually, it doesn't. Hadn't it been for your post, I wouldn't have discovered that MD actually solved my issue. Took a look at Twilio, totally different cloud based paradigm and even pay as you go model, then I should configure the dialer to call their number rather than mine, etc. seems too...

Speaking about overengineering, it now mutes the microphone, as I got caught by a real gate opening while brushing teeth... and turns on the speakerphone, as I was left with the doubt that the gate did open (it says "gate is open" on the line, only I couldn't hear it). Blocked autorotation, to...

Here is my macro, just in case. Sure it's over engineered in some bits, but you can simply extrapolate what you need from here.

Misleading UX on input screen with OK/Cancel choices

Exactly, when you click out, even inadvertently, you lose any change and are required to start over. In this case I pressed the check button at least a couple of times in a row, before building "muscle memory" that it wasn't the right course of action according to the provided UI.

Misleading UX on input screen with OK/Cancel choices

Literally all modal screens in the app. Which, unless there is an underlying button still visible, might be also working. But the transparency is little and the contrast high, in the example below, and the button in the bottom right corner screams "OK", and it's the closest action to the user's...

Misleading UX on input screen with OK/Cancel choices

Whenever I see the input screen asking for any kind of input, instead of tapping on OK, I instinctively tap the underlying checkmark button which is at the bottom right of the screen, still visible from the previous screen, and my action is interpreted as "cancel", and I have to repeat. This...

Hi @Pr0z3r, have you succeeded? I actually stumbled upon your post by looking for a solution to a similar problem (other than having to type a pin followed by # instead of a single digit) and it was pretty straightforward setting it up on my Galaxy S22. And I didn't even know about the existence...
