Can MD do this?

My phone doesn't have a LED light, and I need some kind of repeating notification that I have an UNREAD text message. Can MD detect/trigger on an unread text message (but not for a message that has been read)?(

When you speak about messages, I guess you're talking about notifications?

Of course you can do that. Trigger a macro upon notification reception from selected apps. Then flash the torch as long as this/these notifications are present.
