Email sending fails

I have a couple of macros where I send myself an email based on keywords in SMSes

It used to work fine but of late I get "authentication error" notifications asking me to check the password.

I entered the credentials again and tested but it fails. The Gmail account is my main one and I am signed into it on the device

Is this a problem with latest version or some other issue that I am missing?

I have verified with MacroDroid v5.31.7Pro / Android 13 and the email sending action is working fine.

This may be due to using a pirated copy of MacroDroid. If so, please uninstall it, reinstall the legitimate one and purchase the pro version to support the only developer. It's a lifetime payment.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure using credentials for sending emails works less and less with Gmail.

Thanks for the quick revert. Surprisingly it fails for me on identical app and Android version on Stock Pixel 4a

However, I used app password for MacroDroid instead of regular pass word and it seems to work. Fingers (app passwords can be created from
https://myaccount.google.com/security#signin)

I never use pirated versions and have supported the developer when I could.

I am facing difficulties with sending email also. Tried to use an APP PASSWORD as you did but this option doesn't appear to me in Google account. May you post a screenshot?
