Enable macro (This whole thread is nonsense, due to a ridiculous miscomprehension on my part. Please ignore it. Or read it and laugh.)

Hello.

Could please someone tell me what these two options do when used with Enable macro?

Trigger on clear apps from recents

New triggers

Thanks

Thanks for the answer and the example macro, but I wasn't really looking for a trigger which fire when the recent apps list is used.

I was actually experimenting with the Enable/Disable macro action and its options. There is one option for each existing macro, of course, there are the options "Enter macro name" and "This macro", which are both pretty clear, but also the ones I asked about, "Trigger on clear apps from recents" and "New triggers". These two make no sense to me, obviously because I'm missing something. As for "Trigger on clear…" – does it execute when an app is removed from the recent apps list (and not immediately)? In that case it sounds more like a trigger than an action. And which macro does it enable/disable then? As for the "New triggers" option, I'm clueless.

The wiki's no help here.

Sorry. My bad.

Those two options I mention as appearing to me when trying to create an Enable macro action and which I didn't understand what they meant – are actually just the names of two macros I imported from Templates and meanwhile forgot about.

Well, I said I was obviously missing something…

Sorry for the confusion.

@fmcpma Those options should definitely not be displayed with the enable macro action. I've been playing around with the action and can't make it appear. Can you tell me at exactly what point the options are being displayed in the flow?

Hello, MacroDroidDev.

As I said, this is all my fault! I created this confusion when actually everything is normal.

As you know, when one taps the Enable/Disable Macro action, in order to add it to the current macro, immediately a dialog appears where the macro to be enabled or disabled must be chosen. At the top, appear the special options "[Enter macro name]" and "[This macro]" and then all the other options are just an alphabetical list of all the macros in the device. It just happens that, while experimenting, I tapped that action icon, the dialog appeared as normal but, since I had forgotten all about two macros I had downloaded some time before from the Templates section, named "Trigger on clear apps from recents" and "New triggers", respectively, when those two macro names came up in the list I didn't recognize them and thought they were also special options (which was stupid, since they were not at the top and were not surrounded by square brackets). Only later did I realize my idiocy!

Sorry for wasting your time and keep up the good work.
