Floating MacroDroid icon appeared

Hello,

I'm sure there is a simple answer to this, but, it is eluding me.

Yesterday I updated to version 5.19.9. A floating MacroDroid button appeared on the screen of my Pixel Pro 6 (Android 12).

I can move it around, it follows me around, and yes it's cool. But, it doesn't seem to do anything, I didn't put it there (I don't think?!), and I probably don't want it hanging around.

You can see it in the attached screen shot on the right hand side in between YT Music and LinkedIn apps.

I just can't work out how to delete / switch it off. I'd appreciate any pointers...

Of course, now that I asked, I worked it out.

Even though accessibility permission was turned off, the MacroDroid shortcut below it was turned on. I guess this is a bug?

This may sound weird but I don't know what this is or why it is appearing. I don't see similar on a few devices I just tried on.

What device are you using?

I think this option to turn on shortcut can be seen under every accessibility on Android 11+.

The solution is to disable the shortcut option in macrodroid accessibility services (fingerprint, ui interaction, macrodroid in general) etc.

OK thanks. For anybody else coming here it was located at Settings - Accessibility - Macrodroid - Macrodroid shortcut off.

If you mean the "..." at the right of your screen then you should look for an option named Accessibility shortcut or similar and disable it.
