How can you find the right Logcat

I record the logs in the app normally but there are just way too many any and I have no idea how it could be called.
Is there a way to sort by app or sth or should I just look through all of them?

Have you seen there's a magnifying glass icon at the top right of the Logcat captures, press that and you can search

As suggested you should search for something related to what you are trying to achieve. For example if you are trying to detect the screen coming on, search for screen and see what messages are shown in the filtered list.
