How to extend if confirmed timeout?

Thanks to one and all on this... I have been wrestling with this for a while now, and I think that I need some wise advice...

I have a few macros that use the "If confirmed" statement, so I'm familiar with it. I see that recently, a timeout was added. However, the timeout can only be adjusted to a maximum of 2 minutes. How can I extend that?

Sorry but you cannot currently extend this. What sort of time period would you want?

At least 10 minutes.

An alternative is to use a stopwatch and have an action at the 10 minute mark. (Sort of like a "if not connected in xx minutes" kind of thing.) However, I don't know how to construct this type of workaround. Any ideas?
