Is it possible for Macrodroid to receive shared text and handle it in a macro of your choosing?

Hi folks,

Sorry if I missed this in the docco, but I couldn't see it discussed and also when you're creating a new macro, there doesn't seem to be a "Share intent received" trigger, which is one way that this could have been implemented.

It could also be a plug-in but I've not seen a plug-in doing this either AFAICT.

Is it possible to share text to Macrodroid? If so, how please?

PS my head is full of cotton wool seemingly today and so I apologize if this has a blindingly obvious answer.

PPS If you're wondering what my Use Case is , it is as follows:

* I am a: heavy user of my phone * Who wants to: be able to edit text before it gets shared to the target app * So that: I can trim off useless info, remove tracking parameters in URL's, add context to a sentence I'm sharing etc etc

MacroDroid doesn't have a text/anything receiver yet. There is an action to share text though so I guess you already have one half.

It's not something that can currently be done but I will look into it to see if a suitable trigger is possible.
