Loop. Repeat (variable) number of times.

I wonder if “Repeat fixed number of times " can be tied to a variable. In other words can it read an integer from the variable and run the loop that many times.
I'm wondering if the developer had this option in mind. See the attached screenshot.

Of course you can. Didn't you click on the arrow you circled? You'll see all the numeric variables already defined (integer and decimal ones, local and global as well).

When I click on the arrow nothing happens. That's why I thought that the developer may have planned for it but the option isn't working.
