I noticed the above feature in the latest update from the play store which installed today

So far I haven't been able to find out how or where I can use this feature and would appreciate help in its use.

TIA

It's [macro_name], like for macro name.

For macros I can use magic text and variables when setting up a run macro action

None of the above is present for action block actions.

Could you please provide an example of using magic text for action block name, so I can see where it is used.

I personally don't use it (neither in macros) except as an Id for Floating text for example. Otherwise I don't see how and when it can be used for.

Thank you

I still don't know how or where to use this feature and would appreciate an explanation of how and where to use it.

Within an action block you could for example use a pop up message action and then use {action_block_name} and it will pop up the name of the current action block.

Previously the {macro_name} magic text would incorrectly display the name of the action block. This is now corrected so will be display the macro name when run from an action block.

Thank you for the info.

I'm not sure I will make use of it, but it's always good to know how to use MD features.
