Message when calling

Hi,

I have an alarm system running, and if something happens, a macro is calling my phone number. Is there a way to config a text to hear when I answer the call?

Thanks

Klaus

Normally an good alarmsystem sends a defined voice message you will hear if you open the call.

Otherwise you can set a recorded "voice.mp3" as ringtone, triggerd by the phonenumber and saying "Alarm is calling" or something else. You don't need any macros for this.

It is a DIY alarm system with some sensors and macrodroid as control system, and you have two different scenario one is already with the special ringtone but for the other one you would something else.

How about trying MacroDroid speak text action upon active call start?
I've had the same idea, but how do I find out, when the call is picked up? What I did so fare:
- I make the call to the second phone
- wait for 20 sec.
- run speak text

I'm sure I answered the call in this 20 sec. but heard nothing.

When you use the make call action use wait until trigger action after that and use wait until "Call Active" in that wait until trigger action.
