Persistent Notif Button Bar & MacroDroid Notif bar icon missing

I have no idea what happened... My Persistent Notif Button Bar & MacroDroid Notif bar icon are both missing as of yesterday. All of the notification channels are on. I've cleared cache, rebooted, uninstalled and reinstalled MacroDroid and nothing is working.

I'm on Android 11 and using a Samsung Galaxy tab s5e. Everything was working fine yesterday morning. This started sometime yesterday afternoon. There were no Samsung updates applied recently.

FYI - I am not having this issue on my phone (Galaxy S8+). My phone is on Android 9.

I experience exactly the same issue for months and years but unfortunately @MacroDroidDev couldn't find any explanation... ☹️

You've possibly turned off the persistent notifications channel in Settings\apps\MacroDroid\notifications. You need to reboot once enabled

I've checked that as well. It's already on (see below). I have tried toggling it and rebooting. Did the same in MacroDroid with the notification bar. No luck.

Unfortunately no more luck as for @megabreath74. In my mind, it first happened after a MD upload (maybe from v4 to v5 or something like that)...

'Notification bar icon' and 'Button bar' always show at boot time and then disappear (at the same time) randomly in the day...

Hi! Same happend to me. Is there any know solution to this, other than the ones presented, since I tried all of them? Thank you!

A, nevermind. I've fixed it by going to Home > Notification Bar Options and configured it again. I followed this post:

I had the same or similar issue with the notification bar disappearing. I tried all the recommendations but none worked for me.

What finally worked (or at least made things different), was to create and execute the attached macro.
