Problems with notification interactions

Hey guys!

I am having some issues with notification interactions. I want my macro to always open an app (in this case whatsapp) when a notification from this app arises. The "notification interaction" seems to only trigger occasionally, making me wonder what I am doing wrong.

I will post a video here too, any help is appreciated!

It seems to do the notification interaction when I am in the app, but not whenever it is running in the background. I am wondering how that would work.

Here is a video displaying the behaviour. I added the popup to verify that the app does recognize the notification but does not interact.

Small update:

Checking the system log, it seems that the app does try to invoke the notification interaction. It just does not work when the app is running in the background.

Turns out I needed to turn on accessibility settings! It works now. Thanks.

Reverted to a previous version because the button bar notification becomes blank when there are no other notifications present. If another notification is present the button bar shows up. When they button bar is not present none of the tire settings buttons work for me neither is there a button bar to select a button. With the previous version 5.28 all is well. If posting this in the Google Play store is not correct I apologize.

What specific setting? Do you just mean you turned on the generic Macrodroid accessibility service? Or the Macrodroid UI Interaction accessibility service...?
