Protocol/log only contains entries from 6 o'clock

Good morning dear developers!

My log (protocol) only contains entries from 6 o'clock in the morning. This is due to the time difference between the USA and Western Europe.
If there is an improvement, it would be great to simply record 24 or 12 hours MORE. Maybe at midnight the day before (for more logged information)?

With kind regards
Klaus

MD logs 24 hours continuously and the logged timestamp is recorded in local timezone.
It depends on OS clock, timezone setting where you are by default. My clock is working in JST timezone even though locale is India and language is US English.
You can change it wherever you want.

yes, that's exactly how I set Android. So that doesn't seem to be the reason.

Probably I don't catch what your issue is.
Did you tell your system log had only one record a day when it was midnight(12am) in MST(GMT-6) when 7am in CET(GMT+1)? As the picture on #1, it seems to be recorded before 7am as well though. Or about time format, 12h or 24h?
Basically the log timestamp is based on local timezone, there is no reason MST is selected. Google campus is located on Mountain View, CA(GMT-7), if it is a bug :ROFLMAO:

Anyway, I recommend you to check your locale related settings and/or location access permissions to MD.

My another mobile has a feature to turn it on/off at a specific time to save the battery. It might be possible to make the log into the blackhole.

Thanks very much @tanutanu. I cannot see any errors in the permissions and settings.

My smartphone is ON all night. Only the WLAN connection is blocked.
Now (9:24 pm) the latest log is from 4:35 pm! All other entries have unfortunately disappeared. And no macro contains the action "clear system log".

try stop getting the time from your network and set it manually even though keep same local timezone. It makes surely use your CET timezone setting without any doubt.

OOPS getting earthquakes:eek:

I'm not entirely sure what appears to be going on here, but if you are still seeing issue with your system log contents disappearing please use the report a bug option in the settings to send a bug report direct to me.
