(Resolved) Just installed the new MD beta - new features/options look great but it looks like template handling has changed (for the worse)

I just installed the new beta version and looked through the new features. I have to test a few things out but it looks great. THANK YOU!

I just installed the 2nd beta update today. The first one was a bit slow executing macros and the system displayed an alert for MD nor responding once. The 2nd beta is constantly not responding/unusable. Can't even pull up logs.

A quick update, I found a macro from the template site which I had opened to look at but had not saved, saved and running (it has a 1 second interval trigger). I am not sure how it was saved to my device but once I deleted it, the macrodroid performance issues ended.

I just confirmed with 2 different macro templates. The MD beta now saves and activates opened templates. Is this a setting I can turn off? I want be able to look at a macro without running it!

Thanks

This is just a bug that will be fixed in the beta (It is certainly not intentional behaviour). Essentially I found that discarding a macro after editing would do weird things with re-enabling triggers of other macros so I had to make some tweaks to the way discard works. Unforuntately I screwed up the handling of templates as part of this fix. I will put out a new beta later today to fix this.

I just tested the new beta and can confirm the issue has been resolved. Thanks
