Root MD

Hello,
How to give root rights to MD, knowing that my bootloader is unlocked
Press MacroDroid's settings and tick root features, it should prompt for root permission. You need to be rooted which is different than bootloader unlock, check XDA forums for this

I think if you add a feature that needs root, it will ask then maybe. I'm not sure. I'm not the developer

Message "requires rooted device and access granted to macrodoid" 😢
Depending on how you rooted, you might need to enter the root app to grant permissions. For example if you rooted with Magisk, make sure if you've used Magisk hide that you've not hidden it from MacroDroid

OK, I don't have an app like Magisk Hide.
So I have two questions:
First, is it mandatory to have such an application to be in ROOT?
Second, if so what do you use yourself?

I'm preparing this, with XDA, but it's quite complicated, I'm afraid of making mistakes and bricking my phone.
My biggest is that I am afraid that I have not downloaded the correct "boot.img", to restore my phone if it is stuck or not working properly.

As @Jacob L suggests just toggling the root options off and on should prompt you to grant access to MacroDroid but if you don't have any tool such as SusperSU or Magisk to grant permission then I'd certainly question if your phone really has root access.

In which case you're not rooted. You can do the ADB hack if you don't want to root. There's guides here:

I'm going to go crazy, it doesn't work for me, but maybe I don't understand everything in these videos, but it doesn't work.
I did all the steps :
1. Download and extract the ZIP file.
2. On the phone, go to Settings\About(or system on some devices)\tap build number 7 times. Now go to Settings\Developer options\Enable USB debugging.
3. You should get a prompt however, if not, change the charge mode to file transfer mode.
4. Tick the box to allow from this computer and press the ok button.
5. Double click on Start here.bat then you are finished.

I might not be good enough to do this.
I just unbridled my phone, I was very happy, I only had that left to do but I am totally failing for this step.

I am desperate
