You can't. But you could try launching app you want to read screen from, read screen and go back to opened earlier app or something like that. I feel like its as close as it can get to what you want to achieve

It's the Uber app overlay screen that appears on top of the app. /if the Uber app is open, it reads it, but if it is in another app (for example) Instagram does not read the Uber screen. As in the example
