Setting volume change sets DND to vibrate only

I have a macro in which I want to enable sound, send a notification with sound, then disable notification sound.

If I use Volume Change, system notification sounds are disabled and the phone goes into vibrate only. I've tried using Priority Mode to override and toggling vibrate enable, but as long as I try to change the volume, no sound.

By volume change....which channel(s) is/are you changing?

Are you setting the volume to zero?

If so, I have found it can invoke vibrate.

I have found lowering the volume to ~10, the vibrate is not invoked and the sound produced is inaudible.

This probably depends on phone model and version of Android.

It's worth experimenting with different low values to see if such a setting exists on S21.
