Tethering on android 8 stops working

Hello
A tipical thetering actions use to work until two weeks ago, but not now, the error now is [ERROR] Could not modify hotspot: $e
My phone is LG G6 H870AR, android 8.0.0, and I was not installed upgrades since several months ago.
I tryed modify the three methods (standard, legacy and alternate) without success.
has anybody have the same problem?

Update, installing Macrodrid 5.11.0 it fix the issue, whith newer versions this trigger stops wifi, but not starts hostspot and the log says
Cannot start tethering: java.lang.NoSuchMethodException: startTethering [int, class android.os.ResultReceiver, boolean, class java.lang.String]
Could not modify hotspot: $e
I will stay on old versions... sad.
