Trigger all day events

Hi,

I'm trying to get MacroDroid to show a notification as well as create a task in my task-app whenever someones birthday starts. I have set up a special birthday calendar for that, and all events are all-day-events. Now it seems that MacroDroid does not react to "calendar event started" if the event is an all-day-event.

Has anyone managed to create a macro like this?

The ALL-DAY Calendar event trigger works based on UTC time.

When I asked the Developer long ago and
also when I just tested it yesterday, it worked based on UTC time, not on my local time.
It seems to be a problem on Google Calendar system issue.

Hi,

Do you find a solution for all day event like birthday calendar ?
Ifttt can detect this kind of event, but not macrodroid.

Maybe macrodroid can just read event title at hour chosen for the present day and the condition was if title has "birthday" return true.
Something like that.
Do you think is possible ?

Thanks.

This original thread is old and It is my understanding that MacroDroid now works fine with all day events in the calendar and correctly adjusts for the local time as well.

If you are sure you have configured your macro correctly then please use report a bug in troubleshooting and include the relevant macro.

Just to clarify I meant in the troubleshooting section of the app (not this forum). It will send me additional diangostics and I can see your macro configured in English.
