I've wanted this for ages @MacroDroidDev.
I'm afraid don't have the capability to recognize only your voice.

No but it is possible to detect the current decibel noise level, E-Robot https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bartat.android.robot used to do this
But that is not what the OP asked for 
Id love to know how that's done. I'd like to make a passive listener that records once a db threshold is hit. Sound-activated recording. I have searched around and been unable to come up with a way to do this.

Install this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bartat.android.robot
Press New command>give a name>Press + next to events>choose audio>noise detected and choose a decibel value. Then click + on the actions>audio>record.
Is there no way to do this in MacroDroid? Or maybe Termux? I'd like to use MD's connections to wrangle the output.

No that's I've asked @MacroDroidDev numerous times.
You can use a launch shortcut action in E-robot though and launch MacroDroid shortcuts

@MacroDroidDev you should develop this trigger. Check E-robot app.
I tried the e-robot app and the trigger didn't work at all on my device (I didn't investigate deeply but it simply didn't function). There are many complications in developing such a trigger because it relies on keeping the microphone always running which then has complexities when other apps use the microphone. There will also be significant battery drain as we have to constantly analyse the sound that is recorded.
I'm not saying I will never do this, but I am saying I have many, many things to do before I can even consider this.
