Update Weather Widget?

Greetings,

Great looking new forum.

Most of the weather widgets do not update by themselves, even though they have settings to do so. I have to manually, launch the application for it to update.

Could Macrodroid help me out with a situation like this? If so, any guidance or direction would be appreciated.

Macrodroid could do something like:

If constraint screen is off

then every 10 minutes launch weather app, wait 1 second and than launch homescreen.

This could cuase you finding a weather app in recents when you are using your phone, but if it doesn't bother you, this could keep your weather alive to update widgets.

Also check if don't have some agressive battery optimizations for your weather app and try whitelisting it from all of these optimizations.

This could also be a problem of the weather app, which is something MacroDroid can't do much about.
