I frequently check the variables list for variables that are only used in 1 macro and can be converted to local.
I also make extensive use of the MD drawer to display the contents of variables - the green section in the attached screenshot.
Why check first before converting to local?
If the variable is used in 1 macro and in the MD drawer, converting to local will stop MD drawer displaying the variable contents. The MD drawer variables must be Global and mustn't be converted to local, if the option is available.
I have at least 1MD drawer variable that is only used in 1 macro. I converted it to local and found the above behaviour.
I thought it would be useful for other users to know, hence the post.
