Hi,

Thanks for joining us at the new MacroDroid forums. After many years of struggling on with the awful mess that is tapatalk, I've finally bit the bullet and moved the forum to a new self hosted XenForo platform. I hope you will agree that this is a big improvement and a much cleaner experience than the old forums. Unfortunately tapatalk make it pretty much impossible to export the old forum data, therefore we will all be starting with a clean slate.

The old forums can still be found at: https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/macrodroid/ and contain a wealth of historical knowledge that is always worth searching if you are looking for answers.

For all new enquiries and discussions please use this new forum and let's get it populated with useful friendly discussion to help and support this great community.

For anyone who likes to browse the forum via a PC the forum can now be accessed by the easy to remember url: https://macrodroidforum.com

As I understand it a small number of users made a donation via tapatalk. I didn't withdraw these donations but instead used them to remove adverts from tapatalk for as long as the donation allowed. Thanks to any user who donated as you made the boards slightly more tolerable for everyone for a period of time!

Anyway that should all be in the past now, so hopefully we can all focus on the app rather than how bad the forums are!

Xenforo is a good choice for the forum platform. At least, much better than previous Tapatalk.

One question though, how I can change the very confusing 12-hour time format to 24-hour? I have gone through the user settings three times and I still can't find it 😅

Dark theme would need bit of a tweaking to be more usable. For example, links are impossible to distinct from the normal text and some checkmarks are hard to see even on properly calibrated displays (see below).
