Which trigger fired to variable

I have a macro which has 4 triggers. Is there an elegant way to save in to a variable which trigger fired?

(Elegant here means other than: If trigger 1 fired, set variable reason = 1 else if trigger 2 fired etc. Or reason = 1 <- constraint trigger 1)

You're right it wouldn't be very elegant but I'm afraid there is no other way.
