Android 14 - WiFi won't turn on/off anymore

Hello,

I have a Samsung A52s 5G.
Android 14 has now been installed.
MacroDroidHelper v1.13 has been installed with ADB.

Now MacroDroid cannot turn WiFi on/off anymore.
It's the same error as back then with Android 12.

Unfortunately, the solution from back then doesn't work.

Solution:
- Uninstall MD Helper app
- Install MD Helper app
- Additional features granted via ADB tool

Is there a solution for Android 14 to allow MacroDroid to turn on/off WiFi?

I wonder if it's because of that new permission.

Enable location permission all the time then if that doesn't work report the issue to support@macrodroid.com.

Does the MacroDroidHelper app also require permissions?
Currently it has no permissions.

Yes the helper does require the permission too.

Have you given MD Helper Location all the time permission?

Since reinstalling the helper have you disabled the battery optimisation?

The problem is solved.

Solution:
- Uninstall MD Helper app
- Install MD Helper app
- Additional features granted via ADB tool
- Manual Start MD Helper app
- MD Helper app asks for permissions
- All permissions allowed
- MD Helper app asks for battery optimisation
- Battery optimisation disabled

I think my problem was this:
I uninstalled and installed MacroDroid.
After that, MD Helper app was not uninstalled and installed.
That was probably the cause.
