So, I have a very weird issue, tl:dr I can't figure out any way to get the button bar that I've been using for two years to show up anymore.
This morning, three of my phones, running on android 11, 12, and 13 all messed up in the same way. The phones are all different brands (One Note, TCL, and Samsung, respectively), also.
All three of them, this morning, stopped dealing with notifications correctly. First, I was using One Shade quick settings customization on all of them, and that messed up the most. New notifications would appear, but non-swipeable ones wouldn't go away no matter what I did (block notifications from said app, stop reason for notification appearing, everything that has always worked normally).
This problem was not occurring on the native quick settings, so I don't know if it's somehow a One Shade thing, but the app hasn't had an update in over a month, and I tried downgrading it to a previous version, and also using a different shade app, and the same problem occurred each time.
I've restarted all the phones several times, just to confirm that. . (I just factory restored one of them, and then put back on Nova, One Shade, and macrodroid, and the button bar works fine... I really don't want to do that with my main phone... But I spose that's a last ditch resort. )
And this leads to the most pressing (Macrodroid related) matter; many normal notifications that should show up (have been for two years) don't show at all using any shade or native setting, and one of them is the Button Bar. I use it all day long, and really don't want to go without it.
I don't assume my problems are Macrodroid caused (I think...) but you guys are smart, and the best place I can think to ask... Does anyone know anything at all that could make the button bar show up? And extra points (as in I'll be indebted to you for life ) if anyone knows what the heck is going on with ALL THREE of my phones all of a sudden (I swear, it seems like I'm in a weird dream where things just stop working and then you wake up relieved... But darn it, I'm pretty sure this is real life )
Thank you all so much
