Estimated Charging Time

Hello fellow members!

I made a macro that calculates in real time how much time left until full charge (or desired % lvl) based on current speed (mA).
Meaning that we can see the difference between charging without using the phone and using it, in virtually real time.

Check it and see for yourself. All and any feedback is always apreciated.

Ciao, la tua macro è potenzialmente molto buona, l'ho scaricata e montata sul mio smartphone, ti devo dire che l'ha un po modificata in base alle mie cariche. Mi spiego meglio....il mio smartphone è impostato sulla ricarica completa al 80% quindi ho dovuto modificare alcuni parametri della tua macro per consentire i calcoli del tempo rimanente basandosi sulla ricarica completa all' 80% e non al 100%. Come ben saprai è consigliato fare ricariche al massimo fino al 90% e far scaricare al massimo fino al 20%. La tua app con le mie modifiche funziona alla grande. Volevo ringraziarti molto. A tutte le tue macro metto sempre le

Check my latest update, I have added that feature ! When you first run the macro it asks you to set a desired charge limite. I.e: 100-90-85-80-75% etc!

Hi, your macro is potentially very good, I downloaded it and mounted it on my smartphone, I have to tell you that it has modified it a bit based on my charges. Let me explain better....my smartphone is set to full charge at 80% so I had to modify some parameters of your macro to allow the calculations of the remaining time based on full charge at 80% and not 100%. As you well know it is recommended to recharge up to a maximum of 90% and discharge up to a maximum of 20%. Your app with my modifications works great. I wanted to thank you very much. Please do. I'm really impressed how accurate it's been for me , I want to know other people's experience with it.
I put a lot of time and effort to make it as good as possible and I'm confident you will be quite pleased with it .

What do you mean a smart plug in for charging ? To notify when desired charge lvl is reached ? Or battery is overheating ?
This very macro already notifies when you reach your threshold.

You can edit the triggers to set how hot you think is overheating. I set it low, 40°C

These smart plugs are meant for turning devices on/off, eg my tv plugged into one (i use phone app often to turn tv on/off).
I thought i could use it also to plug phone charger into. The idea is that I'd tell it switch off (stop charging) "automatically", when phone battery reaches say 85% (rather than having to remove plug myself, when charging using usb cable). I really only need it for my older phones, which otherwise always charge to 100% if i forget to unplug it sooner. I have popup warnings (via macrodroid) but often i miss them, as eg using another phone, or away from phone.

Another thing is that i usually keep the phone on do not disturb (as alerts often "disturb" my peace of mind!)

I have a few different brands of smart plugs, and quite a few smart apps. I just need to "knuckle down" and get this smart home stuff sorted. I've keep putting it off, as it's not exactly simple & easy to sort it out. And i probably need to learn about stuff like maybe webhooks, local server, etc.
