How to trigger Alexa

It seems MacroDroid doesn't have any of its own plugin that can trigger Alexa.

Tasker has a plug-in named AutoVoice which works well with MD too.

Even heard VoiceMonkey does sort of similar job, but it's supposed to be a recurring paid service. Plus it directs to http protocol first.

Wish MD had its own plugin, that would've been a standalone solution.

Any idea/thoughts about this?

MacroDroid supports Locale/Tasker plugins, so you should be able to use them as you would with Tasker.

I agree with that. But that's not what I was expecting actually. Since MD is totally a different app, so having its own plugin would've been useful rather using third party, specially that's too the paid one....

Tasker plugins are typically made by third parties (not by Tasker) so it would be the same model if MacroDroid had it's own plugin mechanism. I wouldn't build plugins myself as I might just as well implement directly in the app.

That's a very good idea! Any future possibilities? Though no compulsion...
