Increase accuracy of geofences

Hi, all!
As always thanks in advance to everybody that comments.

Is there anything that I can do to increase the accuracy of MacroDroid's geofences?

I was adjusting one of my macros and I isolated the problem to one of its geofences. When I looked at the geofence in question, I noticed that my location was reported to be about a mile away from where I actually was located. Does anybody know what I can do to get my location reported accurately?

Thanks again to all.

Have you tryed to adjust the radius setting in the geofence
Or
In your app settings give MD permission to precise location

For some reason, geofences are kept to a maximum of 4980 meters. All of the geofences involved have been expanded. Also thanks for the suggestion about changing my app settings. I didn't know that.

Snurre, the only thing I can find in my app settings that refers to location is under trigger options. Am I missing something? Where do you suggest I go to check or change settings allowing for precise location?

Go to app info from your device settings (or long press MacroDroid while in recents, most devices supprot this) -> Permissions -> Position.

Endercraft, on my device, I don't have Precise Location available. My choices are limited to when the permission is active, such as "Allow all the time", "Allow when the app is being used" or "Don't allow". I have everything set to "Allow all the time".

The most likely is that your GPS is not locating you with a good accuracy (so MacroDroid cannot do anything about it). Geofences are not something from MacroDroid but provided by Google Play Services.

In your Google account there's an option to choose accuracy in location service
I don't really know were you can find it, mine is in Danish 😉
