If you can have ADB hack you may be able to force it by changing system settings.

Does MacroDroid have ADB hack permissions inside this 'secured folder' ?

Secure folder apps and normal apps are isolated and I don't know if it is possible to access secure folder apps with adb.
Even if you can freely change the settings with adb, it means that Knox security has been broken, so I think there is no point in using secure folders.
