Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can see why this isn't working. I left my phone on stand by (hit the power button to lock the phone) and asked a friend to text me. It did not function. Is there somthing I am missing here?

When testing actions I can get the volume and audio to function but I cant get the email to send or for it to trigger when texted.

Check the MacroDroid system log for errors

What isn't working? Does the trigger fire when receiving an SMS containing "LP23"?

The rest of your macro seems to be correct.

If it's not triggering, chasing the trigger to a notification received trigger. RCS breaks things

What exactly is RCS? Is that texting over data/wifi? I turned off the samsung chats and it seemed to work last night when I had friends text me.

RCS is an undetectable (for normal apps) messaging protocol. Maybe with Logcat you can.

RCS is Google's protocol for sending SMS messages over data connections. Apple has refused to implement the spec so it only tends to work between Android devices. It's not always easy to tell what you are using (as it's designed to work seamlessly) but if you rely on using the SMS trigger I would always recommend disabling RCS/Chat in your messaging app.
