Unable to add file to forum post - Resolved

I've just installed version 36 for the first time. I used 36.5.

I cannot add files to a forum post.

All the files in all folders are greyed out and cannot be selected.

I'm not sure if it's related to 36.5, but it started after 36.5 and helper 1.9 had been installed.
I have reset the phone following the installation of 36.5 and helper 1.9.
I haven't had a phone update for over a month and I don't think I've changed any system settings.

Any help in getting this function working again would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem. It's not related to MacroDroid as I use the forum as an external app.. It started happening after updating to Android 13 (MIUI 14) so I have to select another app within the selection to select files.

Thanks for the quick reply and suggesting a work around.

I have tried using my file manager to select files to add and that works fine.
